The Hot Mess Method

Queer-centered, identity-affirming interior design for people in transition—post-breakup, mid-move, newly out, or creatively stuck. We will work together to blend spatial design, emotional clarity, and lived queer theory to help you reclaim your space.

Let’s turn your hot mess into just plain HOT.

Misson Statement

I help people connect with their space—especially during seasons of change. With three Master’s degrees in architecture and a PhD underway at Princeton, I blend spatial design, emotional intelligence, and queer theory to offer organizing and decor services that affirm identity and support transition.

I center people who want their home to reflect who they really are—not who they’re trying to be. Whether you're coming out, moving out, starting over, or slowing down, I create spaces that are expressive, evolving, and unapologetically personal.

Let’s work together to take you from Hot Mess to just fucking HOT!

Vision Statement

I believe home should feel like a “yes.” A place where your body relaxes, your identity is affirmed, and your stuff makes sense. Whether you’re mid-transition, post-breakup, or creatively blocked, I offer design support that helps clear space—physically, emotionally, and symbolically.

My vision is a world where soft chaos is welcome, where routines are flexible—not forced—and where beauty comes from alignment, not aesthetics alone. I believe healing shows up in color palettes, in furniture rearrangements, and in the brave act of letting go.

I work with what you already have and who you already are. Living spaces shouldn’t break your budget—or your spirit. I’m not here to sell you a lifestyle. I’m here to help you feel at home in your own damn home.

No more shame-filled spaces. No more chaos blamed on your personality. Just fun, dopamine-filled design that helps you breathe, flirt, rest, cry, and get dressed in rooms that know exactly how hot you are.

And yes—some of the best looks really do come out of the closet.
